Does anyone know why property managers (CAM) salaries are so low in relation to work load and stress level? I have worked in two major cities as a PM. I have seen a very high turn over rate which only got worse after lockdowns. Why not incentivize employees to stay with better pay and treatment instead of having a revolving door of people to be trained; only to have them quit within a few weeks?

References overloaded with questionnaires!

References overloaded with questionnaires! I have been on a job hunt for 6+ months. I feel bad for my references who work just as hard as I do to land a job. They are constantly being asked to vouch for my character and ability to be a good employee, but then I don't get the job. Anyone else experiencing this? #references #jobhunt2021 #hiringnothiring #meetingaquota #falsehood #jobsearch

Lack of effort from HR coordinator

I received a written job offer complete with salary and start date one week ago. I was told by the recruiter that I would receive emails concerning background check and other things concerning my on boarding process. My start date is two weeks from now. I have yet to hear anything from the HR coordinator. When I contacted my recruiter, he stated that “she must be really busy right now”. I wanted to give two weeks notice to my job, but I’m not doing that until I get things started with an on boarding process. I don’t want to be overly Aggressive since my start date is still two weeks away, but I am still concerned. What should I be doing? #interview #jobsearch #advice #hr

Well ill go straight to the point , I am an experienced aircraft technician 35 years working for major carriers. I messed up at age 55 got a felony charge of constructive possession. Now I am worried i cant get SIDA badge.

I have read that there are alot of companies that are second chance friendly, and will hire without using this hiccup against you. I feel I should be given a chance to work in my field there are many jobs within the (major carriers) airlines I can do. I am somewhat scared to try. I am 61 yo and starting over is not an option.

I know my business well. After 7 or 10 years (I forget), I can get sida access after you charge. What do i do?

How can I fix this?

I've been stressed out at work, and trying hard for a solid year to get promotion and my managers have noticed and been keeping an eye on me. But I got into it with someone else. I mean our voices were raised and I used choice words. I did call her stupid so thats on me. She was was nosing in on my call and telling me what I was doing wrong and my numbers are better than hers. I told her her opinion didn't matter and she was stupid and to get off my back. I know other people heard us. I think I blew it. Is there hope?

Quit because harassment

I recently quit my job I loved doing because the maintenance man would not stop making comments that were inappropriate and touching me on the leg or hair or running fingers over my back, and my employer loved him because he knows the place inside and out and found away to get him hired back after the new owners fired him for not having SSN!! When I finally did have the nerve to text my bosses And give them the real reason why I quit they never returned my phone call or text and it really hurts and I wonder if I made the right choice or not I’m just tired of people getting away with stuff that they shouldnt

No hire

I had an amazing 3 interviews and even reference check and then they emailed me a few days later saying it was hard but they are looking for someone with more skills. Is it just me but why put someone through ALL OF THAT, you saw my skills day one.

Am I wrong

I was suspended and then disqualified from my position, I have been reassigned to another department but at a substantial pay cut. I have hashimotos and I take medicine for it. A nurse practitioner change my dosage and my chemicals went way out of wack. During this time I made a couple bad decisions, and the company has come down excessively hard. I did inform my supervisor about it prior to me getting into trouble. What should I or can I do?

Helps when I feel like i am losing hope

Two monks were returning to the monastery in the evening. It had rained and there were puddles of water on the road sides. At one place a beautiful young woman was standing unable to walk across because of a puddle of water. The elder of the two monks went up to a her lifted her in his arms and left her on the other side of the road, and continued his way to the monastery. In the evening the younger monk came to the elder monk and said, "Sir, as monks, we cannot touch a woman ?" The elder monk answered "yes, brother". Then the younger monk asks again, " but then Sir, how is that you lifted that woman on the roadside ?" The elder monk smiled at him and told him " I left her on the other side of the road, but you are still carrying her " #advice #stressful #health
