Do you ever feel like you have a ton of energy at work to get through the day, then on your days off feel so tired and just can't shake it off? My last two days off I have felt so tired I don't want to get outta bed. Just asking to see if it's normal or maybe something is wrong with me lol..

So a lead who for reasons unknown just doesn't like me and that's fine I'm at work to work not be friends with everyone and be civil. I also get along with everyone but him. He's been giving me a hard time for a few months and the managers are aware as well as other employees.so today I get drug tested for suspicion and it was this guy who said I was acting jittery and my eyes look bucked. I don't do hard drugs and haven't drank in over ten years. My test will be clean however I was upset while waiting for the people to come and test me and went to my car to get my phone. I was threatened if I left I would have the cops called and be arrested. Than after the test I was told I couldn't take my car home. I had to get a ride or have someone come drive it. I asked for the rules stating this and when receiving them it says nothing about anything close to that. It does say if found positive they will provide you with a ride home again my results will be clean and the send them out so they shouldn't of threatened me and made me leave without my car.i wish there was something I could do. It's obvious I'm being messed with and others see it and have spoke on my behalf. I just have to find another job now but I shouldn't have to quit a job I enjoy because management won't do anything.

I have been applying to different jobs. Last week I went to two interviews and have been in contact with other potential employers. I had a job that ask if I could start Saturday but I didn't get back at then. I was/ am trying to weigh my options. This staffing company said they can send me to a job I worked before. I went in did drug screen. When asked the recruiter when I could start she said she would review my documents later that day. She had another recruiter interview me as I was a bit late and she was going to lunch.

But she said it would probably be Monday when I can start. It is Wensday and I haven't heard from her. I also so another posting for a position on indeed from the company. Should I check back or they don't want to hire me?

So I have done 2 phone interviews and 2 in person interviews with same company on 2 separate occasions and they explain the whole training process in detail and let me know what to expect when I begin, only to find out I didn’t get the job! Why continue to give me in person interviews and tell me the whole process of what to expect for training if your not going to hire me? Also I will state that I have the experience and qualified for the position.

I am 58 years old and on Social Security. My wife and I are living with friends, and don't even have a place of our own. I have to return back to the workforce, and don't know where to look. I am an experienced painter, and maintenance man, and I have a lot of tools. But I have no vehicle, and no residence to call home. What do I do?

I have been searching for work for the past 6 months, literally applied for over 200 positions. (Believe it!) I have a graduate degree that doesn’t seem to be worth the paper it’s printed on. I continuously hear more & more people talk about how it SEEMS like places are hiring but they’re NOT REALLY hiring. I spoke with a store manager today who confirmed that positions/jobs posted on career sites are often not taken down when the position has already been filled…. & to be completely transparent, this makes me livid! I’m sure there are others who have been busting their a** to apply for jobs THAT DON’T even exist! I have personally experienced anxiety so high I felt like I was in fight or flight for days on end.

  • I should note that I have applied to hourly wage jobs where no experience was necessary nor was a college education… and still …. crickets … or I would receive a message that another candidate was chosen for the position. 😤

I’ve experienced what I perceive to be “educational discrimination” & have considered removing a degree or possibly both of my degrees from my resume (which makes me sick!).

** If anyone has been experiencing anything similar, I have discovered ONE technique that can save you a lot of time. Before applying, call the company first & ask if they are actually hiring. So far, this has gotten me past the career page BS 3 times & I have been asked to directly email my resume to the person on the other line to bypass the 50, 75, 100 people who have applied. It’s also quick & easy and saves time applying for jobs that don’t really exist!

If anyone has discovered other techniques aside from applying on career sites, PLEASE SHARE! I am desperate as I’m sure many of you are as well.

Best wishes! #thetruthaboutcareersites, #advice, #pleasehelp, #newtechniques
