I would have loved that when I was a manager. Most days, I would end up working 10-hour days anyway
With that schedule, I may need the first day of each weekend to simply unwind! I also tend to enjoy my weeknights. Dipping deeper into my evenings would take too large a toll on my work-life balance.

in all reality 40 hours don't quite cut it. If your lucky enough to have a job where you can work OT when you want it that's wonderful. guess it would depend on your side hustle and family situation. 40 hours is 40 hours, so you're not losing money unless there's a shift premium for certain days. give it a try.
