Restaurant Worker / Designer / Marketing

Would you prefer to work on new years eve or celebrate the new year with family and friends?

New years eve is one of the opportunities for people to celebrate in restaurants and bars. There are some drinking packages available to celebrate the final countdown. πŸ·πŸΎπŸ‘©πŸ½πŸ‘¨πŸ»β€πŸ¦±πŸ‘©πŸ½

For most restaurant people, it is an opportunity to make good tips during new years eve. January is the slowest month in the Midwest. Some restaurant workers don’t mind working for one night. We all know that the entire rest of the month will be slow. β˜ƒοΈπŸ•πŸ₯ƒπŸ·

In the past years, I worked only until 10 PM, and it was good because I had options to celebrate after serving people. I will work this year because I prefer making money rather than spending it. πŸ™‹πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ’Έ

What would you prefer to do? Would you work? Or celebrating with friends? Let us know with a comment.

Definitely celebrate! As a teenager & when I was in my early 20's I would always volunteer for the crappy hours that nobody wanted, but now that I have a family I take advantage of seniority at my job so I don't have to take the crappy hours! Leave it for the newer employees that need hours & money!

For most, I would think that such an easy extra pay day would be the general consensus in my book...

I hate to say this but that is an individual question. Are you trying to see how many say work and how many say family so you can make a decision? Are you single? Married? Is your family far away? There are just too many questions that I can ask because there is not enough information.

I don’t or never did mind working and making double pay. Companies still need to move on for their customers.
