Retired Master's Level Social Worker

I know there is some agency that needs part-time social services for a retired-young-at-heart social worker with 40 years in medical, psychiatric, children's services and a paralegal certificate. I am sharp, healthy drive and want too work part-time. Ideas?

Freelancing

I read lot of posts expressing frustration at getting job or complaining about office colleagues or office environment. My advise is to stop worrying about matters that are beyond our control. These worries are like sitting in a rocking chair. We do keep moving the chair, but it does not take us anywhere. Everyone has different skills like decoration. cooking, gardening, teaching. Why not use these skills. The problem is selling. For this digital marketing is an extremely helpful tool. I am 63 years and want to learn the technique. Can somebody suggest sites those provide basic knowledge of this tool.

Heathcare job after early retirement.

I would like someone to critique my resume. I will be 55 November 13 and hoping my job offer me an early retirement package this year. The package will allow me to put down enough money to purchase a house. I will differently go back to work. Probaby within 6 months. I will still work for healthcare.

Also, how can I begin to compile information from on resume for a specifc job position I am not fully quailied? I might have some skills but I may not have a bachelor or master's degree?

Currently Hiring?

Hello. I was wondering if you are currently hiring and do you hire/train "older" persons who have been out of the work force for many years. I'm pretty sure at my age i can still work circles around the younger generation.

I need work

My husband and I are on Social Security but do not make enough to pay all the bills. (we don't have credit card debt but are having trouble paying the mortgage, electric, insurance, car payment, etc). I thought we were prepared for retirement but we were not. I am hoping the companies that do help people here will be able to help us. Unfortunately they are closed on Fridays during the summer so I wasn't able to speak with anyone. I have never been in this position before and really don't know what to do. We live in Boynton Beach, FL. I did go to the one agency that helps but they are closed on Fridays during the summer. We do have enough food but need to pay the water and electric bill. (I have called them and I don't think they will shut the utilities off). This is the worst thing I have ever had to go through. I am a Certified Residential Appraiser but have been unable to find a job in my field (or any field). My husband is not able to work because of severe health problems. I am fortunate that my health is good and I am able to work.
