Not everyone can find a dream job; however, to do that, you must have a long-term plan for your life. If you can, GET A COLLEGE EDUCATION.NOT A REQUIREMENT, BUT IT HELPS. So College is not for you, ok. What would you like to do? Put a plan together and work toward your objective; if you can, put some time constraints on that. In the end, find something you enjoy doing. Or whatever you do will not be satisfying in the long term. Just, WOW
Today I was exploring videos about felons and success stories and there are a lot of them. Stories about ex-cons who became businessmen, lawyers, advocates, counselors, teachers and more. They were all great stories but I always look for ones that are relevant, informative and actionable and I wasn't really finding the one I was looking for.
Then this one came along. It's not job specific, it doesn't tell you what training to take, what your resume should look like or how to ace an interview. What it does is tell you how to LIVE. What it does is give you goosebumps, maybe make your heart swell & your eyes tear up. Maybe it makes you think about your own circumstances, reminds you of people you are familiar with (@Scott Silvers) who's sage advice & insights give you something to think about that's relevant & deeply personal. What is does will be different for each person who watches it but it will elicit introspection & a sense of inspiration. I didn't find it, it found me.
It contains a moment that may be difficult for some to hear because it's about something real & tragic that happened to a young man that changed his life forever. I hope this video inspires & motivates all who watch it.
