In Illinois, with part-time work, you can only earn up to 50% of your unemployment and not lose any of you UI benefit. Any amount you earn over 50% will reduce your UI benefit by this amount. So, lets say, if your UI is $471/week (max), you can earn up to $235.50/week part time w/o reduction of UI. If you earn $300/week, your UI would be reduced by $64.50/week. This is the difference over the 50% mark.
