I remember I had this job that offered VTO almost daily to employees. I thought it was the best thing ever🙌🏾. I mean....who wouldn't want to leave work early?! Especially if you have something important to do that day, or you may have finished your work early and think that you deserve to leave early! Don't let the weather be nice (80 degrees ☀️🌈or higher), you know that's heaven to us "Wisconsinites" lol. Everything is sweet until you see that Paycheck 😳😮😮 Your first thought is usually; where is the rest of my money? lol and then it hits you…BOOM.. its all of the Voluntary time you took advantage of🤑 last pay period! Have anyone ever set themselves up like this?!!! #Curious #Tips #Advice #Benefits

This past week while out visiting the French fest in my city. I had a chance to utilize Uber and request a ride! I actually drive for Uber as a part-time gig, and I love it. While out, I noticed a lot of the Taxi drivers outside their vehicles, taking smoke breaks, or taking a nap inside their car. It made me think about how the transportation industry has evolved over the past 10 year. I really wonder why taxi drivers have not transitioned over to drive for Lyft or Uber. I'm sure their income has dropped tremendously, and that business has slowed down. We have to make sure that we are staying abreast of the technology advances and changes that are happening around us. What are your thoughts, why do you think people are still choosing to drive Taxi Cabs? #Curious #Transportation #Career

Because taxi drivers don't videotape you and then put you on YouTube while you're intoxicated! Most cab drivers have to go through background checks so with Uber drivers you are more likely to get molested or dead!

Cabs are also contracted here in CT as medical transportation. They bring patients to and from appointments. I work as Dialysis Tech and many of the patients relay on this type of transportation.

So I read a lot of the issues, complaints, fears etc people are having with work. Is this because people just take a position wherever they are accepted, or is it because you chose the wrong career path? Did you research the company before applying? In my experience I have worked for companies that was either referred by somebody or I had done business with them at some level. Never just a blind journey. #advice #curious

Why were you fired? was there something that you did or they just let you go? How long were you employed by that company?

I’ve never applied for jobs through a staffing agency before. What should I expect from the process? How soon will I hear back from employers? #curious
