Any advice on how to contact EDD (California) regarding why my daughter is disqualified from UI payments?
I'm a 17-year-old high school senior looking for a job! I have a 4.0 GPA, I'm an International Baccalaureate student and a varsity athlete enrolled in college. Unemployment
I applied for unemployment in California 2 months ago. I haven’t received it yet. What’s even worse, I know someone with NO income because of the virus and applied for SNAP (food stamp program) in Hawaii 6 weeks ago and haven’t received anything!! Family of 6. Anyone having these problems and know what to do? Both CA and HI have no actual person answering any numbers, no way to leave a message on a number, and no way to email them that we can find.
It's odd, bc I've heard that some have had this implemented, and most haven't. This is from CA. I was told that they're so backed up that it's supposed to happen, just hasn't gotten around to all yet. #stillwaitingforEDD

Does anyone know how to apply for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA)? My neighbor was denied unemployment, and they suggested that he apply PUA, but when he goes to the UI page it tells him that he was denied unemployment and does not allow him to go any further. It will not allow him to open a new claim. Any help or suggestion will be appreciated. TIA
