Trucking is not a job it’s a lifestyle am I right? Sounds stupid but it’s true. You work long ass hours, see some of the most beautiful sights in the world and some of the worst. You eat bad food on the road but meet good people. To me the road is home, always has been. You shouldn’t truck if you just need a job, because you’re setting yourself up to fail. You truck because you’re ready for a challenge and you want to make a change in your life. Anyone with me on this? Looking forward to meeting some other truckers on here.
Honestly, how much money can I make driving? I’m hearing mixed stories from drivers and just this morning I heard Lyft and Uber drivers earn about $3 per/hour after maintenance, insurance, and taxes. I’m not looking to get rich driving but I’m looking for a second income to help me pay down bills. Should I look for a min wage pt job instead?
I always try to do a good job, but it kinda bugs me when someone doesn't rate me. I want to know I did a good job or if they weren't happy for some reason so I can fix it. Anyone here get rated a lot or anyone who uses Lyft do you usually rate/review your driver? Thanks!
