That for a hard working person it is easy to become a manager if you love the grind.
I worked for hertz for 4 years and I got charged for a car that I returned the next day. They are a criminal organization that will try to make money any way they can. The branch managers are told to overcharge customers and take advantage of everyone who rents a car. And if you don't agree with what they try to charge you they will say that the car is stolen. So if you are smart stay away from hertz and all of there other companies. Unless you want to be harassed and possibly arrested.
I work for twenty two years at Hertz in Fayetteville , and is so sad that I lost my job layoff .
Cancel the interview. You don't want to work there. Completely messed up company. They do not "back up" their front line employees, when it comes down to pushy, drunk, arrogant customers. And upper corporate management fly around in private jets, while the peons (who are the backbone of the company,) get NOTHING! Top pay & "sales commissions" are geared towards the top performers, who are given the most coveted shifts and counter locations, to maximize their "sales" numbers. A greedy company, that overbooks car reservations, then "throws their employees into the lion's den," to deal with the angry customers. No thanks!
Enjoyed my job and people I worked with
I loved working with other employees, I also loved working with the vehicles, our bosses were very supportive, and I felt I could talk to them with ease. I really miss working with Hertz,...
Never. I hated going to work everyday. But I got paid. So I kept going.
The ability to assist customers in their rental car needs, meeting new people via phone...the hours, the pay and the benefits.
Driving different cars from place to place.
