Employee Staff Breakrooms

What does your breakroom looks like? A question to think about right?! Here are some tips that I thought about that will make your Employee Staff breakroom more relaxing, engaging and recharging. Clean environment Set up a bulletin board Coffee for the week The Pep Talk exchange Here's how to do it: Hang up a notice board or place a box in the breakroom. Leave a stack of paper and pen nearby. Ask your employees to write down words of kindness or motivational quotes and hang them up or drop them in the box.

I'm telling you the truth...

Imagine going to work at a new department which has about 12 other people and...

2- persons frequently reports to work late.

2- persons are usually on sick leave during the week.

3 - persons are definite job complainers.

5 - others have questionable activities to say the least.

As a new hire just coming onboard, where do you stand?

Don't worry about dysfunctional attitudes by others, be dependable in the small things. Then everything else will fall-in-place.

I Believe You Can...!

I'm telling you the truth...

People generally fall by the waste side of life, after torments of pressures from unseen circumstances.

Don't let this happen to YOU.

Make that "tiny" change that been tugging at your heart for years, then everything else will fall-in-place.

Be resilient so other things can appear.

I Believe You Can...!

Yall remember how as kids adults used to tell us “it’s not what you say but how you say it”

Well baby. That applies to building your resume as well. 😭

Instead of saying, “I did” or “took care” of something, let’s leave that at the door & spice it up a bit. ✨

You: -Performed -Handled -Completed -Managed -Accomplished -Processed -Administrated

Change it up! Just cause it’s your resume doesn’t mean it has to be bland.

If you need help updating your resume, click the link in my bio and book you a free consultation today.

I think about the great MLK Jr. today. A go-getter, a do-er, a kind and passionate person. When things get hard, you must remember this. We can't make excuses, we just have to keep going! So keep moving, keep striving for the top, and keep going. We are too strong to give up now.

#MLK #MLKday #martinlutherkingjr

It’s been 30 years since Martin Luther King Jr’s birthday was recognized as an official holiday across the United States and it’s a prescient opportunity to take pause and reflect. Reading through some of his works, I’m struck by their enduring power and abiding relevance.

Here’s a quote of his that resonates with me that I’ll be reflecting on today:

“The time is always right to do what is right.”

What are some quotes or passages by MLK that motivate or inspire you?

Sometimes it’s nice to remind ourselves that yes, I AM amazing. Maybe an employer hasn’t seen that yet or even said it to you, but it doesn’t mean that you aren’t. For me, I know I am amazing because I am an awesome mother and wife, a great friend and a pretty good singer...but mostly in my shower. We each have something inside of us that makes us great. Don’t forget it, even if NO one tells you, know that you are.

Why give up on today? It's never too late to start a new career, make a new friend, or start a new adventure right??? Remember your life is YOUR life...no one else's so make it count.
