You don’t need to get recertified to apply for a medical assistant position, but make sure you have valid excuse as to why you have not worked in the medical field. Employers will be understanding if a family member was sick or you were furthering your education. The skills you previously attained as a medical assistant are still relevant, so it’s easier for employers to focus on training you for a specific department. There are a lot of other high paying entry level medical jobs available, too.
Have 15 years experienced doing MRI. Can work independently as I have work all 3 shifts.

I graduate last year as a Medical assistant and I can't still find a job due to my lack of experience and been not bilingual person (which in California really really you need to be ) I do speak English and Italian ,my question is what can I do to find a job and get hired? I don't why the company that I used to work for has been telling me that they found someone that is more qualified than I am. I am being frustrated because I am very qualified and has been in the field since 2003 and certified. I have no experience after school and health first hired me and had given me all what I knew now.
