For medical assistants who have been out of the medical field for over 5 years and want to come back.
You don’t need to get recertified to apply for a medical assistant position, but make sure you have valid excuse as to why you have not worked in the medical field. Employers will be understanding if a family member was sick or you were furthering your education. The skills you previously attained as a medical assistant are still relevant, so it’s easier for employers to focus on training you for a specific department. There are a lot of other high paying entry level medical jobs available, too.
I have so much experience and knowledge in my brain, I've never landed a position from On-Line Apps. But if I had a face to face interview they could see what I am about, my Aura, personality. Do what you have to do to support your family, not too proud. Just show me how.
