Remote Work Protection Policies: Unbearable noise, Disrupting neighbors...

Covid-19 put me on remote status since the March lock down and I have been struggling to perform due to the constant noise level. It's unbearable. I am full of anxiety, constantly distracted, taking phone calls in my closet to avoid disruption. I need help. I don't know who to turn to or whether I even have a right to ask this question. Yes, I am fortunate I have a job. But this is not about having a job or not - I want to know facts, protocols, SOP's - it's not like remote work is a new concept. Anyone? I just need some advice? #Guidance #inspiration #advice #Florida #help #hr #coworkers #workfromhome #remoteworker #osha #compliance

For me the most important thing is mutual respect from employer and coworkers. I cannot stay in a position if I do not have that! #coworkers

One thing I would have loved to have at #Foxwoodscasino was

I couldn’t have worked any closer to public than I did with this position at Foxwoods. Not always easy to say the least. Management should have done more to recognize the times that the customer service skills they drilled into us always led to a better outcome. Not an easy task when dealing (literally) with people’s money. Some kind of reward or acknowledgement which would have provided incentive for co workers to want to do the same and make better $$$! # #coworkers #motovation

What made me stay at #Southerncaliforniaedison was

Well paid, many advancement opportunities, great benefits. My dad told me to get a job that supplies something that everybody needs. And a utility does that. And it does it in the USA. #benefits #education #hiring #accounting #employmentopportunities #motivation # #coworkers

I felt thankful for my job when

I met some wonderful people. The owner(s). #1 Cindy, #2 David, #3 Mike. Beautiful souls they were and are. Sadly the owner's Cindy and David have passed. Cindy was very firm, but very loyal to not only her customers, but to her employees. Her and David were very loving and well known by many. Mike was a very pleasant person to work with. I was very thankful for working for them and for them giving me the opportunity to work for them. If work for evey job meant what came from them, came with the job, it would be undescribable. I'm thankful for what they taught me, and for what I learned. #coworkers #foodservices #love#honir#loyalty

My advice to someone entering my field is...

It started to be a great job made great money and wonderful work team but then a bout five yrs ago this woman name Brenda carol hall came there she was the GM and she was ok at first then she became this person that interferes in your personal life she started to favoritism some of her employees she would let them do whatever they wanted too then when this pandemic came along she let a few work off the clock to keep drawing their unemployment then she was staying on us constantly for no reason when she would get mad she would take it on us and she started loosing employees because they couldn’t take the way she was treating them so the last day I worked they was an accident and she never reported it she never even ask was that person ok or nothing she just ignored them like they wasn’t even there so the next day that person quit and then a few more quit so if you are considering working for bob Evans in Pikeville I would request you not too if you don’t want to be treated like that that is my opinion #coworkers #advice
