One of the things that I regret is not investing in my future throughout the years with a 401K savings program. Whenever it got brought up I would say, “I won’t live to be that old so I’m not worried about retirement.” Quite an ignorant response since I’m still breathing.
The best advice I can give is to take advantage of the 401K your employer offers. You won’t regret it.

Their Fair Chance Employer page says that they are generally on the lookout for experienced applicants with backgrounds in anything ranging from agricultural work, to administration, to IT.
Here's a link to their main fair chance website where they explain their mission and the opportunities they offer. From there, you can navigate to their own job board where you can navigate their listings. Again, I was surprised by the variety of work they offer. The pay/benefits are very generous as well.
To apply, you just have to make a profile in their job application system, which can be found here. They also have a great set of helpful links in their Resource Center.
Frito Lay Hiring Nationwide. They Hire Felons!
Frito-Lay is currently conducting a Facebook hiring event. There are many positions available including Fleet Technicians, CDL drivers, Maintenance Mechanics, Operators and Packers, warehouse positions such as Forklift Operator and Material Handlers and Sales to name a few.
The company does perform a background check during the hiring process, but having a felony on your record does not automatically disqualify you for employment. Be sure you can confidently speak about your experience, the lessons you learned and how you are applying those lessons moving forward. I am posting numerous links regarding the process and the company below. Frito-Lay is an iconic brand and they're going to want to know why you want to work there and why hiring you will be a good investment.
The hiring process at Frito Lay can be grueling and take a long time, as the company is known to have an intense interview phase with a lot of behavioral questions. You apply for a role at Frito Lay on the company's website or through a third-party job website. A recruiter will reach out if they feel you are qualified. Just City, an advocacy organization, has assisted in reducing the burden of criminal justice participation for those suffering from mental illnesses and addictions. In only two years, the group has modified Tennessee law to make it simpler and less expensive to seal a criminal record and receive a second chance.
Just City focuses on areas where poverty is a barrier to justice, such as expungement, bail, and driver licensing. The group believes that no one's worst deeds should define them.
