I'm sorry to hear about your situation. I recommend reaching out to legal aid organizations, bar associations, and utilizing online platforms like Jobcase, LegalMatch, and Avvo to find a local attorney who can help with your wrongful termination case in the Indianapolis area. Good luck! #termination #Indianapolis #legalaid #Jobcase

HR giving bad reference

I don't know why your job would they give bad reference but in my work experience I know it happens come to my office for all types of unnecessary reason and untrue reason but all I ends up with they (Employers) didn't want you to go and others ( Employees)having negative input on you when you was there Even though there wasn't any negative thing to say all it take is one to start the conversation and others co-signed to it some could be just coming on board don't even know anything about you 😔💔🙏 #termination

Registration Clerk at Sp Mercy General Hospital

The person is motivated to do a great job and impress people, when one account given to the person turns sour after just two days. Then the person is back pedaling, trying to keep the account happy but really trying to save face And the energy spent to do this is exhausting. Then the person loses focus and everything unravels. "Sorry Son, but nice try."

It happens all the time. Someone misrepresented themselves, set unrealistic expectations, screwed up the first day of work (often a stressful time), or were simply a victim of bad luck. Usually there is nothing you can do but move on. In rare instances you may have a case, but only if it was clearly discrimination or other illegal activity.

Getting fired for a single incident may seem harsh, but ultimately it is up to your employer's discretion to determine what behavior is acceptable in the workplace. It might be helpful to reflect on the situation and consider if there were other factors that led to this decision. In the meantime, focus on finding a new job. Utilize Jobcase along with other job search platforms to explore opportunities and move forward in your career. Good luck with your job search!

@Kayla Patterson It doesn’t sound fair, but I recommend preserving any evidence you have including witnesses. Next step should be contacting an employment lawyer to see if you have a claim. If the lawyer doesn’t take your claim, you should file a claim with the labor board.

MentallyandPhysicallyDisabledFelon?

I've filed for SSI because I got fired due to physical symptoms causing me to get worse and going to a psyc hospital for 2 weeks. I have social/general phobia, schitzofrenias, anxiety attacks that causes stiffening of muscles if I'm too over worked for my meds to handle. Finding part-time "online" is impossible especially when you have a mental illness that causes you to not make it through past an interview. I signed up for vocational rehabilitation services and PACE in Indy. Needing advice on who would hire a felon as a cleaner, part time jobs at factory's, etc in Lafayette, IN #jobsearch #motivation #advice #interview #termination

I am glad that you filled for SSI, here in Champaign IL I have a client who receives $400 dollars per month from Regenial Planning Commissioner. She will have to pay back the funds once she gets her disability. It's not a lot of money, but you can't work while you wait to hear from them. I pray that you will receive your disability the first time. They deny everyone sometimes the first try. If you get denied, apply again. My God heal you with many blessings.

Sorry to hear about your struggles. Try searching Craigslist for part-time jobs. There are lots of housekeeping positions in the general labor section. Good luck! 🍀

For the most part we as thee employee is suppose to. Leave on good terms is probably the least. Buy say you worked for the company for 10+ years. You have house payment car payment utilities even though it's no concern to them what if your a single mother . In 10 + years you know one another. Do what you can, with what you have, where you are at.

I was recruited by the owner of a medium-sized remodeling company after he suffered a heart attack. During his absence, the company was mismanaged and fell into the red by around $400,000. Embracing the challenge, I accepted his offer to become the general manager.

In our first month, we achieved a net of $225,000; the second month brought in $300,000. By the third month, we had turned things around, showing a profit of $125,000. Every month after that, we consistently achieved a remarkable net profit of $325,000.

At the end of the year, the owner's daughter's new husband relocated from another state. With some construction knowledge, they appointed him as the new general manager, which meant I lost my position. They took my company, Land Rover, leaving me without transportation—a tough situation with three kids in diapers and a stay-at-home wife.

When I walked in and shared the news with my wife, her immediate response was, "What are we going to do?" I reminded her about a small box filled with slips of paper. As she went to find it, I called an outside sales rep friend and asked if he needed any replacement window appointments. We agreed on a straight commission, with me receiving 10% of the sales volume.

With determination, I took the box of names and phone numbers—some were 6 to 7 years old—grabbed our cordless house phone, sat at the corner of our bed, and generated 24 sales in 27 days, totaling over $160,000. The rep came by and handed me a check for just over $16,000, and I asked him if he would mind taking me to the car dealership. #motivation #termination

Fired from the Commonwealth

In most cases its pretty hard to get fired from the state. I hade to fall in the 3% if even that many. they offer more lifetime hiring, they want me book so i have to not shoot myself in the foot here. I was being sexually assaulted and became homeless. i was asking for an accommodation since i kept getting re-admitted to the hospital. My dad dies from coronavirus. My director told me they do not have such accommodation. i asked for portable wifi so i didn't have to connect at local coffee shops. I had to sell my house and lost my car when they Repo it. i told her she needs to forward my request to Accommodations specialist, she cant make that decision. i recorded without consent. #termination
