Any other parents working from home?

I was incredibly worried and stressed about our baby so we took her out of daycare early on and moved to working from home.

I never thought I would be a "stay at home"/working mom. Usually, it's one or the other, but here I am doing both. I think I just created a new title right there ; )

Things are now VERY different than they were a few weeks ago but I think everyone is feeling that sense of pressure because we are unsure of what is to come next.

Are any other parents out there feeling stressed or concerned?

Eligibility requirements question

My child's school closed due to covid 19, which caused attendance issues and I was fired from my staffing agency job. Does the work search being waived save me from the requirements of followup and job search thru the agency to qualify for benefits? I didn't realize u have to contact them within 24 hrs and wait three days to file. Does this still apply due to work search requirements being waived? Thanks #help #eligibility #unemployed #momlife #thestruggleisreal #coronavirus

Yes, go online and file. Watch YouTube videos that help you through the process. Please note* Don't accept the first denial. Do all you can to talk to someone who knows what they are talking about. Ask for supervisory staff. There are a lot of new hires manning phone who will tell you wrong info. You may need to mail in forms, but instead FAX forms in...Do it quickly. Ask for direct phone lines or extension to who you are working with

The UI office may even make you jump hoops and confuse you so you can delay getting approved.

Once approved you will have waiting week (no pay)...but also submit weekly report even if denied...then fight for retro pay. They will so things like tell you that you will just have to restart claim...and cause you to miss out on all the weeks of initial claims. Don't take it lying down. ALSO REALIZE THAT PANDEMIC RELIEF pay PUA application needs to be filled out separately to get the $600 till end of July.
