Have you claimed your weekly benefits, as your supposed to, since approved. Once you're approved, go on to the state site to see when your last four of your social should claim. In NJ, it's broken down by day of the week and an hourly window i.e. 0300-0399 is Tue 8am-9am. 0400-0500 is 9-10am, etc. You have to claim for every week you are eligible, including all of the weeks from when you applied until you were approved, and since then. Check your states unemployment insurance website for schedule and faqs for any other questions you can probably have answered there. Once you claim, that week's payment should hit your account in about 48 hours. When you successfully claim, you'll have a receipt (opt to have it emailed if the state allows it) or screenshot it when it pops up. Keep it in case a payment doesn't hit, which there's no reason it shouldn't but it also includes your payment amount, week claimed, amount left on claim, etc.

Unemployment Insurance Examiner Former

You have to certify "timely" for your Unemployment. If you have not done that immediately, bi-weekly, after being approved initially, you probably now have to REOPEN your claim to get approved again. This time, open your claim after being approved, and look for the week you have to certify. If you miss your certification date(s), then an Issue opens which prevents payment. Or your claim closes, and you have to REOPEN. Look under your Certifications tab to view the weeks you missed certifying. Look under the FACTFINDING tab to see if they opened an Issue on you. Even if an Issue has been opened, you still have to CONTINUE to certify TIMELY, until the Issue is resolved or rule upon.
