What should I do if I’m not sure an interview was canceled?

I recently had a phone interview with a local, well respected company. They decided to move me on to a video interview, set a date and time with day instruction including contacting them with any questions or concerns about the position before the interview. The same day, after the company workday ended, I received an auto generated email saying the position was filled. In that email there was a link and an invention to apply to other positions. When I looked at the job site, the the position I applied for was still up and able to send an application for. I contacted the interviewer that set up everything for clarification about whether or not the interview is still scheduled or should I reapply to the position since I received an auto generated email. I have yet to hear back from anyone, and the interview is scheduled for tomorrow. Should I still prepare for the interview, reapply or walk away from this company? #interview #advice #application #healthcare #followup

Make sure you bring a list of questions to show that you've done your homework and been thoughtful about any potential challenges or concerns. Good luck with your interview!

Major question- has anyone been getting call backs?

Detailed question- I am curious how people have applied for numerous jobs and haven't received a single call or interview? I have applied about to 80 places received one interview and during that I got looked up and down by the manager, waited and another 30mins and then got told the position was filled.

I am very curious of everyone's experiences right now.

Please and thank you for your input.

History- I lost my job to the pandemic5/20 and then 1/21had a baby. Now trying to get back to work to feed all these kiddos. God bless! Stay strong and don't waiver! Right now it the time we need to stay strong. #interview #followup #advice #jobsearch #application

Wow ! Sorry to hear what you are going thru. But I’m having similar troubles- 2- 4 reply’s back after at least 100 inquiries. If they do reply it is a straight commission job and/or using your own vehicle , phone , computer for business. So I’m thinking most of these are scams or business trying to take advantage of others in bad times.

Caregiver at N A

Be yourself , be genuine, and dressing casual , but nice attire is best. Its not a hard interview , smile, but dont be fake about it, and at the end gell the manager thank you for their time and shake their hand.

Training Manager General Manager at Starbucks

I agree with the previous answer. I’ll also add make sure you engage in conversation with more than a one word answer, relate the question to something personal and ASK QUESTIONS!! Read about Starbucks mission statement and core values and their history and come up with, ahead of time, at least two questions. It’ll show your genuine interest in the company. GOOD LUCK!!!

Email scams?

I'm looking for work in a small-ish Georgia town and I keep getting tons of emails from job promotion websites or services and some of them say "2nd Notice You have been accepted to ... Schedule your interview?" But I don't know what the job is and I do not remember applying to so many unspecific ones, and the email just gives me a link and honestly I don't even open the link because I've been taught not to trust stuff like that- what do I do??? #advice #interview #scams #followup #jobsearch #wordsofadvice # #

Had two interviews A's both per director I set the bar very high. Why would it take so long for them to offer me the position? Should I call and check the status?
