I wish my job @ #1099 Worker had...

Opportunity to work from home, travel from home into the field and return home to complete the the assignments that were were done in the field. Rather than do all of your work at home you do both as an Independent Contractor

I have been trying to get my 1099-G for last year since March of this year from the Florida DEO- no form. Asked for it to be both emailed to me and snail-mailed to me- no form. I do not have access to it through my DEO account- I can log in and report my job search, but no link to the forms. I contacted my local political rep, who said that they would help, but what the did was send me the link to a form to request my 1099-G. I had already filled out this form 2 times, but filled it out again- no form. I did file my taxes with the deposit records from the card that DEO puts my unemployment on and did not owe any taxes on the monies collected, but I am afraid that I will be audited because of the lack of the form. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, how did you deal with it? #1099G #1099-G #floridataxforms #florida #taxforms

Does anyone know how to get a 1099-G form from the Florida DEO? They acknowledge my identity, but I cannot get them to send me an email version, hard copy or enable me to download it from the DOA site.

Agonizing at times. The owners don’t raise prices, so you will groom a shih tzu and smaller breeds for 35 dollars. One active owner likes to think she is busy all the time. She is not. Many times I saw her sitting for hours playing computer games while I groomed as a 1099. Being a 1099 you have to take your own taxes out and pay them at the end of the year. I consulted a tax attorney about this practice and it is illegal. They will tell you it is not. It is. With a 1099 they do not have to tell you when to be there. I was told to be there early a lot and groom dogs who were friends with the owner that had to be tranquilized AND muzzled AND coned to prevent me from being bitten. I am Not sure if the dogs were all up To date on rabies. They should have been. I also had to split tips with the owner and the bather. 50 percent to her and 20 to the bather. She took taxes out of all tips on a credit card so that they were in the clear on taxes. I now work for a corporate salon and they give me insurance and optional 401 k and profit sharing. And they take taxes out! I would not work for this lazy owner ever again. I work with a team now. #doggrooming #doggroomerlife #privatesalon #1099 #terribleowners #mustlovedogs #advice

In Florida I received my 1099 for my unemployment claim and it says I received more than I did. I tried to call them and each person says they don't handle it. Florida Dept says it's not them, the IRS says call Florida Dept. That was after hours waiting on hold each time. 🙄 #1099 #benefits

Has anyone received their 1099-G from unemployment? They claimed I received 5K more that what I actually received! Not sure who is running the show over there but maybe they could hire some unemployed people to go through the 1099 forms before they send them out. Now I wait to get a corrected one. #1099-G

Heres an interesting quick read on a recent study on freelancing. I am curious of your thoughts.

The part that sticks out to me (based on so many Jobcasers experiences we see) is this sentence; .."42% of freelancers agree that freelancing gives them the flexibility they need because they are unable to work for a traditional employer because of personal circumstances.."

So what do you think about this study and article? On target? Off base? #freelance #1099 #NewEconomy #FOW

A "Scam" is being left with 70k+ in student loans when "higher learning" was supposed to be the path to success.

The "Scam" is no matter how high your education goes, there are NO classes or courses on Residual/Passive Income. Why?

A "scam" is paying $200 for shoes that cost $4 to make...

A "scam" is a CEO that averages 29K an hour, but pays his employees less than $20 a hour...

A "Scam" is placing your future in the hands of someone who decides your worth.

A "scam" is trading hours for money when time is all we have...

The "Scam" is keeping education all about being an employee never an employer.

A "real scam" is the naysayers (bless their hearts) who always judge without knowing because ignorance is bliss...

A "Scam" is NOT the Network Marketing industry that has created the most millionaires and is the #1 fastest way to wealth.

The "Scam" is we use our time to market and promote products, places, attire and accessories every single day and never get paid or recognized for it. You know it!

A "Scam" is wondering how your gonna house and feed your family today or pay that cut off bill tomorrow

A "Scam" is being P.O.O.R (passing over opportunities repeatedly"...

But for real.....a SCAM is really just you "Still Being Confused About Money"
