$600 Reporting Rule Delayed

The IRS is delaying the $600 rule for the 2022 tax year so, for now, you will only receive a 1099-K if you went over the current threshold of $20,000. Of course, the IRS still requires taxpayers to report all taxable income.

Will this affect you? Did you know about it? Is this going to impact how you do your taxes?

Does anyone know how to get a 1099-G form from the Florida DEO? They acknowledge my identity, but I cannot get them to send me an email version, hard copy or enable me to download it from the DOA site.

I have been trying since March to get my tax form from the Florida Dept of Economic Opportunity. They acknowledge my credentials but no electronic access to the form or emailed form. This is the last piece to the puzzle for me to file my taxes. #1099g #florida #advice #taxes

What can a person do when the Florida unemployment people will not send or give me access to my tax form? I talked to one person and they said to resend my ID info- that was 3 weeks ago and I still do not have access to the form on line nor have they emailed me one, despite repeated requests.

What if you were out of work all of 2019. And only worked like a week in 2020 and was payed cash for that week. What do you file then? I was out with an injury for a year and then got back to work right as the pandemic. Closed everything down. I recieved no stimulus checks and only 3 months of unemployment.

Hi @Regina Burton ; we are not tax experts so we cannot help with this. I'd suggest reaching out to a local tax experts, or a company like H&R Block or TurboTax. Good luck!

If you need help with your job search, let us know. We'd love to help!
