What’s one career decision you made that completely changed your path — for better or worse?

I have been in restaurant world most my life and im really looking to one day be the owner or manger in this Field

I left my job at a security firm to play poker full time. It was not wise move at the time but I’m glad I did it

One day on a whim, I checked Craigslist.com for jobs in a particular industry, and found a posting that led to a job in an exciting industry entirely different from the one I was in.

My decision was to learn to do something other than being stuck loading and unloading trailers. So I learned how to operate a forklift

My biggest decision was to retire from Murphy Medical Center now known as Erlanger Western Carolina Hospital ran by Earlanger of Chattanooga. I started working at an Assisted Living Facility and did resident care then I was Admistrative Assistant to the Facility owner..who has sold the facility. I am a very responsible person and take my responsibilities very seriously. I have always had a good rapport with my co-workers. Since I am an older individual applying for a position I have ran into age discrimination which I really do not agree with. I am a good worker and want to thank you if advance for considering me for a position.

Nursing is my passion and it is the greatest and most important decision I have ever made.

Yes, I am absolutely interested. I have years of experience in documentation in other areas and some experience in the hiring process. Would love an opportunity to discuss my experience further.

Being a caregiver for elderly
I left a job I was working for 10 years to help become a caretaker for my father. It was not easy. My mother could not take care of him alone. He was not a good husband or a good father to us but he ask us to forgive him and we did. He accepted the Lord and died a short time afterwards.
