Working in retail, I treat customers the way I expect to be treated as a customer. Best advice ever given, LISTEN.... Listen to what your customer is saying and if needed, repeat what you believe you heard People appreciate the attentive ones. And ALWAYS acknowledge anyone walking through the door within 5 seconds of their arrival. We've gotten amazing reviews simply by letting them know we're aware of your presence and will be with you as soon as possible. Being polite goes a very long way

#1..I was 18 years old when my boss told me if I want to make x amount at work, then I need to perform like I'm already making that amount. #2...no matter what I'm doing it's my job to make my boss look good to his boss.

Company Owner at Miles Ahead Cleaning

To this day I stopped being terrified of mistakes and accepted that human power will fail at some point and to promise perfection is unrealistic but to promise that I will.always give best with the ability to admit to mistakes and the willingness to fix them no matter whY they are. When I adapted this mindset the stress eased .mistakes decreased and I was not asked to walk on water amazing

Do something that you love or have the passion of doing. I kept it for a long period of time until my work has become stressful and my passion for my job is dead and gone. It worked for 6 months lol
