What do you think is the biggest misconception about remote work?

The biggest misconception about remote work is that remote workers do not work as hard as a in-office workers. The fact is that a good worker works as well from home than from their office.

When people look into your history, that is bad,I was told that companies had stop doing that people, pick yourself up and move on there is something else down the road.

People don’t manage their properly like in an office. If they are not micromanaged then they don’t work as hard as in the office! I believe if you have to be micromanaged then the company is not a match for you.

Not managing your time properly.

I’m love to work there

It's nothing wrong with giving a two week notice, even if you don't like the job who knows you may need to return

The BIG misconception of REMOTE work is: people think that they have freedoms that being at home is less scrutiny and flexibility of work/life balance. The fact is that your activity is MONITORED such as YOU agreed to when you take the REMOTE work position. "Mouse jiggler" downloads do NOT mask idle keyboard activity or the need to be on live: chats, Video confs platforms, or your required "rapid" Message or email replies. Slack and other platforms= "REDFLAG this employee is NOT on duty in any capacity." Folks are getting fired as they are caught. When YOU agree to using THEIR software and be Paid for work you agreed to= You ARE tracked. My being connected here and the emails I send/receive and delete, then empty TRASH= all recorded, tracked and recoverable without ANY special protocol of I.T. Security department or 3rd party I.T. It's all there FOREVER and I can recover ANY emails or messages I said YES to for "DO you want to delete this Forever?"= YES. all STILL recoverable in an instant with our message recovery option in Outlook. (P.s. I work under Global Security and the CEO is not exempt of this)

Not right, don't give them two weeks notice.

Just a why should someone give a company 2 week but when they are letting you go they don't gives you any notice at all ,but you must be professional., I don't get it not fear.
I prefer working with others more. Home is more distracting.
