Keep looking until I find something decent

Remind yourself that every “no” brings you closer to the right “yes.” Set small daily goals—like applying to three jobs or updating your resume—and celebrate wins, even tiny ones. Stay connected with others, take breaks to recharge, and keep believing in your value. You’ve got this!

Good Morning , I tailor my resume to whatever job I hope to acquire.

You might want to take a fresh look at your résumé strategy. Are you using the same version for every job, or tailoring it to each specific role? Speaking from personal experience, I spent six months sending out the same résumé with little to no response. What finally worked for me was customizing my résumé for each job I applied to — and I landed a position within two weeks.
You could be overqualified for some roles and underrepresented for others simply because your résumé isn’t highlighting the right things. If you’re still using an older version, it’s definitely time for an update. Many companies use AI systems to scan and filter résumés before a human even sees them, so if your format or content isn’t optimized, it may be getting automatically discarded.
Try using AI tools to help you restructure your résumé to align with each job description. Highlight your achievements, metrics, and specific skills instead of just listing job duties. Your résumé is your pitch — make sure it sells what you bring to the table. A small change in approach can make a huge difference.
