Where would I try besides dollar Tree to look for work with a felony?
I've applied at Savers, and I was never called for the job. and I tried temp agency and I've had no luck with them either.

Contact your local unemployment office and they can either send you to a trade school,or get your free job SpecificExperience that they will have employers that will hire felons. Amazon is 7 yrs unless youapply with one of their 3rd party delivery services. They will base it off the crime and what you have done to make life changes. Grainger warehouses also hire felons, ryder also.

Illinois just dropped the background check until after the interview so no prejudice, also most employers only go back 5 years here. Plus there are tons of companies building warehouses all over that are desperatefor people. Just BE Honest! If yougets an interview I would be happy to tell you what to expect and whatto say

What skills or experiences do you have that make you a strong candidate for the job you are seeking?

How have you sought out resources and support to help you achieve your goals and overcome any obstacles?

Me being new and wanting an chance to make my community a better place for us to grow
I would love a support system and a quick way to find a job for myself and my close friends #aboutmyjob #advice #jobsearch #interview #motivation

What message would you like to send to employers who may be hesitant to hire someone with a prior felony?

work denied because of an 8 year old level 6 felony?
I have a level 6 but it was over 8 years ago I applied for a position. They used this background company that came up with that felony from 8 years ago I was denied the job with a nonviolent level 6 felony from over 8 years ago the position of a remote lead generator position. I applied for another job that used the same background check company they came up with nothing how can that be and should I apply back to the same company that I really wanted to work for?

That if you a felon they judge they don't look at your skills is upsetty

Or don't waste the rest of your life trying to get a job that checks AT ALL. That's what I'm doing. Giving up on anything that checks AT ALL.
