What’s something you wish all job descriptions included but rarely do?

Advice

I wish they’d tell us the actual expectations and hours they expect you to put in. Not asking every day that they need you to stay for an hour or two after or come in two hours early every day. And want to get an attitude when you stay clocked in or clock in outside of your shift they posted. (Free labor basically) Many jobs I’ve worked at did this, and unfortunately because they didn’t do regular time stamps they couldn’t “prove” it. Safe to say I didn’t show up when there was the Black Friday sale, and I was one of the only two people for that store as cashier. They had to deal with calling people in who all said no, they called me and said I needed to show up cause we were family. Asking Where’s my money for the 12.5 hours extra I worked “off the clock”? Wasn’t called again. ❤️

Expose the real scenario and expectation in the interview.

I’d like to know what amount of specialized training there is for the job once you’ve accepted it.

But I have applied for jobs that I have previously worked in that field & the Replies are all the same especially Clerical positions they have been filled or check back for other Opportunities.
