I've never worked from home, but I'd suggest getting a partner maybe? 🤔 I would love to work from home with my better half. Maybe 😏

I never worked from home so I wouldn't know but if I did, I don't think I would get any work done, because being home makes me want to sleep

Absolutely—I’ve definitely experienced moments of isolation while working from home, especially during long projects or stretches without meetings. What helped me most was creating structure and staying intentional about connection. I build in “touch points” throughout the week—quick check-ins with colleagues, virtual coffee chats, or just using tools like Slack or Teams to stay part of the conversation. I also make a point to turn my camera on during meetings; seeing faces and sharing a laugh or two really helps bridge that distance.
Outside of work hours, I lean into routines that keep my mental health strong—taking walks, working in coffee shops occasionally, and making sure I’m not going straight from bed to desk. I’ve found that when I take care of my mental space, I’m more productive and collaborative, even remotely.
Working from home taught me a lot about self-leadership and communication, and those skills have made me stronger in any work environment.
