β¨ BRUNCH SHIFTS: DO YOU LIKE WORKING SUNDAY MORNING?? β¨
At a Craft Beer Brewery π» where I used to work in Cleveland, Ohio - we were famous for our Sunday Brunch Menu and Bloody Mary Bar! π π³π«βοΈ
Iβd like to think that part of the reason it was such a hit, was because my Manager and I were a fantastic team who loved a busy, happy shift! π―ββοΈππ―ββοΈ We diligently put HOURS into setting up the Restaurant and Bloody Mary Bar very early every Sunday morning, and worked our butts off every shift! ππ»ββοΈπΉπ₯πΆπ₯
I would often come in before my shift technically started, and start setting up without clocking in, because I cared so much about how prepared we were. β° I knew that taking the time to set aside backups of the ingredients we would use the most of, π« stuff blue cheese olives (the WORST!), π§ restock extra mixers or vodka, π roll as much silverware as possible, π½ refill every tables sauces,π₯«and do anything the night shift had neglected - was essential!! π§ΉπΎπ½ π« π»
I know most of you probably LOVE eating Brunch, but how do you feel about serving Breakfast?? π₯ βοΈ π₯£ The endless coffee refills, patrons drinking 2-4 drinks at a time, when they want water, booze and caffeine simultaneously, and the pace required to make sure eggs and toast arrive hot - is not for the faint hearted.π₯π³πΉπ Neither is carrying a coffee pot in one hand and three plates in another! π«
β¨ HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT WORKING IN THE MORNING?? DO YOU LIKE SERVING OR BARTENDING DURING SUNDAY BRUNCH?? HAVE YOU EVER SET UP A BLOODY MARY BAR?? β¨

Until the pandemic hit, I used to work in the breakfast place, and also, the restaurant I used to work in had a weekend brunch buffet. I made good tips on Sunday brunches.

The Today Show AL ROKER would say SUNDAY FUNDAY Especially after church lets out and bed heads are up and at its on a holiday too
