Keep applying for the position.
I try to stay positive and just keep applying for I know that I am a good candidatee that just are not willing to let me show them.
They always seem to want my experience in a person half my age.
They may not be able to say it but they SURE do show it
That may be true but, AGEISM certainly exists

Same situation. I was with a company for six years, dedicated. I'm the one they came to when they needed something done like pronto. They switched over to a phone system, wich we clocked in and out on, and ran our delivered equipment on as well. The system had its issues however. Company accused me of stealing company time, and called me a liar. I was crushed. Instead of looking into the problem they just terminated me after working me up until 2pm that day. Once everything was delivered and picked up. 😔😪. I loved my job but they showed me who they really were about.
Keep on pushing and make something happen for yourself and keep doing what you have to do to make things better
Never stop applying. It is currently 1:07am central time U.S. I have been to interviews, came home, and applied to 40 more jobs (no exaggerations) same day. I have now expanded to new platforms. "HI" Getting out the comfort zone of familiar or preference and applying to jobs with min. requirements entry level. Soon something will happen. Learn, Experience, or Fail, but NEVER give up.
