When a job post says “fast-paced environment,” what does that mean to you? Deal-breaker or exciting?

Jennette, what company you talking about that pays for everyone and everything .Iowa is a state that you can be fired at the drop of a dime without any reason .The fact you said its a privilege to work for a company in high demand is fantasy .Better to be needed for your exp than feeling like its a privilege. You sound like you work for HR .To funny get back to reality.

I am done with fast paced environment, I prefer a calmer working environment.

Why is it poor management and a sweat shop when reference to fast paced work environment? Don't forget about the fact that this company is paying for everything and everyone...it's a privilege to work for a company that is in high demand... That's just job security and a steady paycheck for it's employees. Not to mention the time goes by a lot quicker than most other environments

Goals need to be met due to product demand and large fulfillment orders in a timely and accurate manner. Fast paced work environment means to keep up with the quickness and pay attention to detail while you move at a fast pace so you don't make mistakes and cause the company to double work and lose $

An environment of people very busy and in their own bubble with clear set objectives only for them.

Alot of moving such as walking, lifting , bending, in the industry

On average it means poor management and inefficient practices where the employees need to be able to think on their toes to get their jobs done. I personally thrive in those types of jobs because I enjoy problem-solving inefficient practices and implementing more practical solutions to job duties and creating a structure and job training guide where a monkey could learn the job and we need less of them. Lol

Being attentive getting the job done in a timely manner being polite courteous respectful and friendly
