Uline Warehouse
Here’s a quick video of employees at Uline giving their take on what’s it’s like to work there. 🦺
From my past warehouse experience, I know Uline is one of the higher paying warehouse jobs. I applied there a long time ago and they did group interviews which I really didn’t enjoy. I’m not sure if they conduct group interviews anymore. I delivered to Uline a few months and their warehouse was very clean and well organized. I was really impressed on their set-up. 🧽
If you’re in the warehouse industry, I recommend applying at Uline. Any questions or concerns feel free to drop a comment. ⤵️

Warehouse Automation
I stumbled across this YouTube video on Toyota’s automated Forklifts and Pallet Jacks. I stopped working in warehouses in 2017 so I thought this was interesting on how quickly warehouse operations are changing. 🤖
Seems like companies are trying to eliminate the human element. A society ran by automation leaves me wondering what will be left for us to do? 🤔
What are your thoughts on Toyota’s automated lifts?

Forklift Certification
Since I seen some job seekers inquiring about forklift certifications and experience, here’s an angle on how to get your foot in the door. ✅
If you don’t have a forklift certification or any experience, you can go to a forklift school near you. In Los Angeles you can get certified for only $40 for a (sit down) certification. If you want to get certified for a (stand-up) or any other lift-truck, the price will increase. I attached a price chart so interested members can get an idea of what the costs will be. 📊
Some schools will allow you to do this online, but I highly recommend attend in-person because they will train you on an actual forklift. If you have never operated a forklift, I suggest you go to an in-person training. 🦺

What it’s like to work in an Amazon warehouse
Here’s a short video of an Amazon employee giving an interview of what it’s like to work there. 🦺
This video describes the Roombas Amazon uses to transport bins across the warehouse which I thought was pretty creative. 🤖
The employee also mentions employees have only 8 minutes to use the bathroom which I thought was pretty ridiculous. No one should be timed to use the bathroom like a child. 🤷♂️
What do you think about the employee’s interview? 🤔
Would you consider working at Amazon after watching this interview? 🤔
