Hey everyone! Swifthawk here!
Okay. Today I will not be creating a post, but a question. So when I got home, I looked on my phone to check my schedule, but when I accidentally hit the icon where you clock in and out, right? Well, when I did that, it showed me that I was still clocked in!!! And I was already home!!!!!!! I tried clocking out right there and then, but it told me that I could only clock out if I was at the store!!!! I tried calling Customer Services, but they wouldn't pick up!!!!!! I'm literally scared for my life right now! What should I do? Will I get fired? And I don't go into work until Wednesday!!!!!!!!!!! Please help!!! #stressful #advice #walmart
Don't Worry @Swifthawk .... these things happen! Just try to be mindful and create a routine in the future, where you clock in/out the same way every shift, if you can. Make sure you let your Manager know what happened the next time you go in, and try not to stress until then! Mistakes will be a huge part of mastering your first job, try to see them as chances to learn something new and do it even better the next time around! 🖤✨💚
So what happened @Swifthawk. Were you able to get in touch with someone. Were they able to fix it? Or do you have to wait until tomorrow?
Hi everyone! This is mainly a question for people who work or worked for Walmart, but feel free to comment anyway!
Okay. If you work or worked for Walmart, before your Orientation, what did you imagine the Orientation Room to look like?
For me, I imagine it as a HUGE conference room, but when I asked my dad, he said that's not what the room looks like; yet I still can't help picturing it as that. Anyone else get those little pictures in their heads before they start work or just go somewhere in general? I do!! Tell me what you think in the comments below!
Peace out! Swifthawk
YOU ALL WILL NOT BELIEVE WHAT I JUST GOT!!!!! WALMART EMAILED ME SAYING THAT I NEED TO SCHEDULE A VIRTUAL MEET AND GREET!!!!!! SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME THIS IS THE TIME FOR MY INTERVIEW!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SO NERVOUS AND EXCITED BUT NERVOUS BUT ALSO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!! I'M SO EXCITED FOR THIS!!!!!! FINALLY, FOR WHAT FELT LIKE SEASONS ON END THEY HAVE FINALLY ACKNOWLEDGED ME!!!!!!!!!!
But seriously, someone PLEASE tell me this is me getting an interview with Walmart at last. I need to be sure this isn't a dream.
To land a job at #Walmart I would make sure to...always be positive. Once u get the hang of it its very easy and a pleasure to work at
I am very dependable and would love to work here
I called Walmart yesterday morning, asked them if the manager was there, he was, but the person I talked to yesterday had told me that they weren't hiring anymore, apparently. Then they told me that the manager had just hired about 18 people. I told them I've been expecting the manager's call for a while now, but haven't gotten it. I asked her if it would be a good idea to get in ready for an interview (like everyone's been suggesting), and she said no because the manager likes to interview you OVER THE PHONE! And if he likes the way you sound, you'll get the job. She told me that the manager likes people who can work any time of day, hours, etc., and I told her I have SUPER flexible hours in school, so that helps me to work anytime. This is such bullshit! Someone please just give me some actual advice about this that sums up what the lady told me over the phone, because help me StarClan! I'm so fed up with this, but Walmart is the only closest thing I work at. Should I call everyday? Should I walk in and ask for the manager himself? I really need a job for college, and I'm losing hope.
Call and ask to talk to their People Lead ( that is the person that deal with hiring people for different positions in the store). The Store Manager don’t do the interview but the Team Leads or Coaches from the certain department do the interview.I hope this helps you a little.Good 🍀 luck.
First of all,I DID read and second I am definitely NOT A DUDE!!! I WAS JUST TRYING TO HELP,YOU DON’T NEED TO BE RUDE!!! You’re welcome.
