Stepping back
I was interviewed an very excited to work forward as a consultant for this permanent position with 1st group. Sadly I quickly realized the A/R department still conducts business on a 1990's platform. Unautomated procedures for my experience. Although disappointed l still tried to be transparent. After less than two weeks my agency told me they have decided to go in a different direction. I know and they knew l was over qualified and my experience reflects it with my resume and interview. How do l develop myself to stay away from my desire to just keep working verses sitting on unemployment until a "prefect " offer arise. Most say just do it! My reply is generally, I'm not a Nike commercial! I analyze in order to offer profit, efficiency, improvement to everything I attempt. Mmmmm. Any suggestions on how l may become a just do it person? Highly confused!

Took a pay-cut and finally a job offer!!
***UPDATE-SEE UPDATE BELOW ***
After a month of applications the last 2 weeks have been wonderful. I’ve had several interviews, 3 more scheduled and so far 1 job offer. I have feeling I may be offered 1 or 2 more.
I’ve had to be submitted to jobs paying $12,000-$16,000/yr less than what I’ve made in the past. That’s $6-$8/hr less! I guess that’s to be expected after being unemployed for over a year.
What are your thoughts on taking a pay cut to get in the door?
Regardless, I’m feeling blessed.
UPDATEUPDATEUPDATE All interviews went great. I’ve received multiple job offers. 3 offers and expecting 1 more. Could this be leveraged to negotiate my salary? Would you mention the other offers to the each employer?

My advice to people interested in working at #SpectrumEcycleSolutionsInc as a #OperationsSupervisor ...
There is always something new and different that will come in either be recycled or fixed and sold to be re-used.

The biggest mistake I made as a #OperationsSupervisor at #SpectrumEcycleSolutionsInc ...
I had been given the opportunity to be the Operations Supervisor of this company on the first day of business and after 4+ years I chose to leave after being recruited by one of our customers with a large increase of a yearly wage and less of drive every day. 2 years later that company decided to close their doors. I can't help but think 4 years later if I had stayed.

What I loved working at #Curvature
They seemed like a good company on the outside. But really were not.
