Important Keys to Success
One of the most important keys to Success is having the discipline to do what you know you should do, even when you dont feel like doing it.

Employed after 1yr wait...
So glad I didn't give up. Finally, after moving to a new state 2,000miles from the previous one, I got hired in a good fit position. Although I went through an agency, it happened so fast to my surprise & the team I work for is very cohesive. The journey was very VERY hard while battling homelessness & sadness along with my husband. It was such a culture shock as a result of moving and a challenge, but made it through it all. Keep hope alive everyone. Keep moving forward. No matter what it takes, persevere. I speak life to you all looking for employment this day.

Be Patient with yourself. Self-Growth is tender; it's holy ground. There's no greater investment!
Words of Wisdom
It is common to be in a rush to reach the destination called success. There's success with a romantic partner, which usually means marriage or success with a business, which usually means an IPO or exit strategy.
Success is often measured by the destination. However, if you can learn to be patient, and continually improve yourself while enjoying the journey, the trip to every success will be as pleasant as the destination. Improving yourself is always worth the investment!

Thoughts about Kylie?
I am blown away by the success of this young lady and by how ridiculously lean her company is. I am not much of a Kardashian follower (though my kids make up for this I think). Curious what others think about her, and her success... https://www.refinery29.com/en-us/2019/03/226097/kylie-jenner-net-worth-billionaire #kylie #kuwtk #success #billionaire lean

Words of wisdom once shared with me
To be successful in life; you MUST surround yourself with successful people. #wisdom #knowledge #success

DO YOU WANT TO SUCCEED IN LIFE? (The Direction of...) [IBYC]
YOU REALLY SHOULD READ THIS...IT'S TRUE!
You rarely will hear this but it's true. The reason why, it's usually spoken in specialized forums and can be spoken very briefly, thus, overlooked at a moment's notice.
So, let me scale it down a little-bit. Here it is, because I really want you to get this one.
Do you want to succeed in life? Yes [ ] or No [ ] Then, always remember this phrase..."Your life will usually follow the direction of your words"
Sometimes it can take almost a life-time after looking back over your shoulders to realize this. The sooner you recognize this principle the better position you can place yourself in terms of steering and staying on course with life's journey.
LESSONS LEARNED: Become aware of what you're speaking, because...believe it or not, you life will usually follow the direction of your words.
I Believe You Can...!

Forced retirement happens. yup. Now, what to do about it?
What strategies do you suggest to overcome age-discrimination in the workplace?
We know how toxic and prevalent ageism is in the workplace. This study outlines some recent findings in this regard. But it's no news to anyone that discrimination happens, or that life can be unfair. And it's no pre-ordained outcome that when you run into age discrimination that it has to define your future success - just as knowing life isn't "fair" doesn't stop you from living an amazing, rewarding, happy meaningful life. Sure ageism can be a tough obstacle to overcome -but overcoming obstacles is something that everyone does as they navigate life and, in fact, overcoming unfair challenges can actually be quite rewarding.
So, whadaythink Jobcasers? If someone gets prematurely turned out, or denied a real look at a new opportunity - what strategies should they take to overcome that particular unfair obstacle??

What is success to you?
I take away two things when it comes to success in my career. It's based on the best career advice I've ever received.
"To remember that failure is a comma, not a period".
"To be sure to take advice from someone who's going in the same direction you want to go in."

Companies who cater to Mom's cater to success!
I was disheartened to read about pregnancy discrimination in this NYT article. Not only is ‘pregnancy discrimination’ morally repugnant, it is also quite financially stupid. Unequivocally, @jobcase, Inc. owes much of our great success to the awesome working-Moms who move us forward every day. If u want your company to succeed- make it an attractive place to work for moms - and of course especially for new Moms when they are navigating the joys and challenges around pregnancy. Have any of you experienced pregnancy discrimination ? How did you react? How do you suggest others to react? #pregnancy #discrimination #culture #mom # DoWhatsRight #success
