13 months unemployed, am I doomed?

I have been out of work since summer of 2020. The pandemic has made it really hard, I was scared to work bc I have an elderly aunt who lives with me. I really want to get back into the workforce, but its been so long. Am I screwed?

How do I explain this to a future employer?

Quit my fast food job after four years of working for minimum and a lot of aggravation.

Glad I did it and never look back! The future is now wide open for me.

Great luck to you!
