Yes !! Working sure the AM pre-load was a lot of fun; no interaction with the public, laid back supervisors, pressure to make sure trucks were ready, lots of laughing (a few tears), dirty jokes and good team building. Sure, there were days of frustration but they were few as long as issues were addressed.
I loved working there. It was fast paced and hands on. I also had great supervisors!
I've never worked behind the counter of a fast food restaurant but I'm very curious what it's like when a new food item drops and customers rush in to try the new food. For instance, when Popeye's launched their first chicken sandwiches it looked insane to work at one of their restaurants. I bring it up because Popeye's has new Chicken Sandwich that they're introducing.

What was it like to work on this holiday dedicated to food and drink? Was it a blast or was it just a day that you wished to get off in the end?
I had such a fun day! Busy, time flew, and the people were a lot of fun to interact with.
If you’re looking to advance in your career, thinking about the way you communicate is a good place to start. Avoid saying these 5 things in a professional environment.
- “But” - Simply stop after the statement. If you must add a conjunction and second phrase, use “and.” For example, “That’s a great idea, and we can look at it more closely.”
- “This might be stupid/silly” - Simply state your idea without qualifying it. You’ll be more valued for your contributions.
- “Respectfully” - Same goes for the word “honestly.” If you’re reacting out of anger, take a moment to collect your thoughts to respond appropriately.
- “I’m so busy” - It’s rarely a good idea to just respond with a general “I’m busy,” as there’s little anyone can do about that except you.
- “Try” - If you’re not convinced you can complete a task, give specifics about the challenges or concerns. That can help you get the clarity, assistance, or resources you need.

Soooo. A very good friend of mine just starting dating her coworker. Normally I'd say this is a bad idea, but I don't want to rain on her parade. It's been a long time since her last BF and I don't want to come off as unsupportive.
What do you think? Is dating at work a good idea?
