One thing I would have loved to have at #ChildCare Network was better leadership and a better work environment.

I loved my students and my parents, they were never the problem. Management was the issue. They found your abilities and strengths then exploited them when they needed you. A few opportunities were given to me only for me to find out I was a placeholder until the person they were waiting on came in. There really isn't room to move up unless you're willing to bite your tongue when things are wrong/when you're wronged and not stand up to yourself when you're being spoken to like you are less than. A few good things that came out of my time here were my relationships with my parents and students and the friendships that I made there. Other than that it was just a big learning experience of what I would never allow myself to put up with from a job and how much more my physical/mental/emotional health was than this place. #childcare #childcarenetwork #cni

L.A. schools are unlikely to reopen in 2020

Working parents might relate to this one: #LosAngeles unified school district is staying the best case scenario would be reopening schools in January 2021 - despite neighboring Orange and Ventura counties being open...

My kids are back in school on a "hybrid" part-time remote and part-time in school, and we've had 2 COVID cases reported already. I worry all the time... #childcare #California

14 and Ready For A Job!

I'm Chloe Whitt, I am 14 and waiting for a babysitting opportunity in my area of Leesburg, FL 32159. I love kids and am a responsible person who isn't afraid of getting their hands a little dirty! I have had a past summer job at my father's place of work and have done very well there. I am excited about your response!

My kid needs a job

I feel bad things are def NOT the same as when I was young especially in this new world we have goin on. She just turned 16 and was so excited to start applying for some jobs. Now that is all on pause. What can a 16 year old do during the Coronavirus to make money?

Support to help transition to online/virtual world

So many things are going virtual... school, jobs, social interactions. What do you do if you don't have the resources to participate in these online interactions? Check out https://www.everyoneon.org

They provide connections to low cost (and sometimes free) internet service and computers as well as free trainings. #workfromhome #skillboost #childcare
