What is the #Coronavirus stimulus package??

This is about to be the most substantial economic stimulus measure in modern history. Here are five significant takeaways.

  1. The government will send $1,200 in direct payments to taxpayers with incomes up to $75,000/year. Families will receive an additional $500 per child.

  2. Unemployment benefits will grow and be available to many more Americans. Expansion of the benefits will extend job insurance by 13 weeks and include a four-month enhancement of benefits. It has been broadened to include gig workers and freelancers!!

  3. Small businesses are eligible to receive emergency loans if they pledge NOT to lay off their workers. Loans would be forgiven if the employer continued to pay workers for the duration of the crisis.

  4. Larger companies can receive a government bailout loan, but there are several strings attached.

  5. Struggling hospitals will receive aid. $100 billion will be available to hospitals and health systems across the country. It also includes billions more to provide personal and protective equipment and increases support for health care workers, testing supplies, and new construction to house affected patients.

I am a senior level executive office manager. Just lost my job. Single mother of three children. Never been unemployed for over 40 years. Absolutely insane how everything is done online, no face to face. How do companies find good help? HR departments DON’T call you back. I have a BA degree in Business. Need a job quickly!

The thing about work I wish more people talked about

I really don't have an answer for that.I would like to say that this is my first time working in the healthcare field and I've done market research for the last 20 years and childcare also for the last 10 years and for me to do this is different and I enjoy it I like helping people I enjoy helping people I am a people person I care about people's feelings and I just want people to be happy and comfortable in their own home I want them to be able to trust us so that they are able to go on with their daily routine once we leave them and they'll know that we'll be back again to help them this is a wonderful experience for me I'm glad that I am with Addus home health Care thank you for accepting my application and thank you for the wonderful training that I had to.
