Chewy is very lenient with job schedule you can use unpaid time off to come in late or to leave early. However when it comes to the actual work environment they offer little incentive and numerous penalties, they have a myriad of small little safety rules that are mostly adhered to but if you do not follow them exactly to the letter you can be written up warned and then fired in a very short period of time and many times you're not even aware of the violation until it's pointed out to you. Also they offer no real vacation time you have to earn paid time off hours for the hours that you work and no matter how long you have been there you can only get perhaps two weeks of vacation time if you work the an entire year without missing any days. They offer a training program but when you train on their pit equipment you are now on a list and when they want to they can mandatory you as they wish to do pieces of equipment whether you want to work that day or not. And finally they really don't treat all their employees fairly certain employees often times get singled out and are written up for safety violations that other people commit all the time if you are a recent hire at chewy you will have a difficult time lasting a full year there
