I wish my job @ #10 grin orthodontics had a better employer.

Working for 10 Grin Orthodontics was not great. I worked there five years until I finally got a better job elsewhere. I went on lots of interviews while working there, trying to get away from that place. The dr at 10 Grin Orthodontics was very unprofessional. He would withhold checks until he wanted to pay which was usually a day or two later. He would refuse to pay vacation and sick pay and make promises that he never kept about paying those wages. He would work on patients and use the same gloves to touch his phone and answer calls and touch other things like old charts and impressions and go back to working in the patients mouth. He was reported and had an investigation for that issue. He was very degrading and would talk down to women all the time. He would refuse to hire men and would degrade any woman who was what he thought was out of shape or "heavier". He would scream and yell at the front desk staff until they would finally quit. To many times the office manager would get messages stating front desk staff wasn't going to come into the office until someone else was there as he would yell at them non stop. It was all around a awful experience. I wish I would of never stayed but I actively tried getting away and was happy when I did.

#10. MAJOR DON'Ts TO AVOID IN LIFE: Conflict. [IBYC]

I'm telling you the truth... (MUST READ w/o FAIL)

We work in a diverse workplace where differences of opinions, interpretations and emotions can run rampant and can be expressed differently.

CONFLICT: In the workplace, conflict can be described as a prolonged struggle or strife which creates surges of negative energy and friction between all parties concerned.

RESOLUTION: Consider these 5 - UNDENIABLE TIPS:

  1. Be the first to raise the white flag of truce for "cease fire." 2) Look towards fixing the problem, not the persons. 3) Stand-up; rather than stand-out and be a problem SOLVER, not a SLAYER. 4) Transform the energy of conflict onto a platform of friendly communication. 5) Help everyone to WIN and not whine over matters of less importance.

Avoid CONFLICT at all cost, then, everything else will fall-in-place.

I'm telling you the truth...(MUST READ w/o FAIL.)

This can change your life!

THOUGHT: No matter what your status is, your stature in life, your strategies or your survival skills best at-hand. Each morning you wake-up you MUST be prepared to do battle. Because whether you know it or not, like it or not, a Goliath is on the way looking for you.

There are 10 - Enemies You Must Fight Each Day!

No. #10 is LOW SELF-ESTEEM: Low self-esteem can be characterized by a lack of confidence, emotional imbalance and feeling badly about oneself. Low self esteem can drag you through the pitiful stages of life.

People with low self-esteem often feel unlovable, awkward, or incompetent and inadequate; sometimes other people, places, things and events can stimulate this emotional drag. Also, it can be self imposed by your faulty belief system. Example: I know, I'm not attractive! I know, I'll never get that job! I know, I won't get a pay raise!(What you think about, you bring about).

THRUST: You must thrust yourself upward and outward, then forward and search on the within you, then, respect the outside of you and I'm Beautiful Just The Way I Am!

All you have is YOU. So, be the best YOU, that you can BE!

I Believe You Can...!
