There is no doubt the Pandemic impacted and disrupted almost every single part of our lives, but one of the most obviously hardest hit industries was the Hospitality sector. π©βπ³ π½ βοΈ π» π¨βπ³ π
It was a rollercoasterπ’ of openings and closings, full of lots of uncertainty about what was safe or not - and when. Not to mention the budgets and wages that were already stretched so thin - now pushed to the brink. πΈ It felt like every single day was hard for a while.
But now we seem to be turning some kind of corner, and itβs up to us to build this brand new world the way we want it to be. So whats the new normal for summertime dining and work in the Service Industry? βοΈ πΉ
What are the ways youβve noticed restaurants or bars changing now that we are two years into the pandemic?? Have there been any positive impacts youβve noticed from the pandemic at all?? Is it starting to get easier working in restaurants now that itβs 2022 vs 2020?? Whats next for Hospitality?? π½

I have someone who loves me now, so I'm not all alone...
Pandemic first, next my cat of ten and a half years died and now my daughter is in the passing season & by 2023, I may go nuts. Thank goodness the service industry is springing back.
I was able to treat my daughter to the very first night of the CMA Fest since the pandemic began. It had some big names and was really festive. We got great ground seats too. And this was the biggest concert she's been to. I want to fill her last days with fun and happiness which is tough to do since her diagnosis. Her damn selfish spouse left her and broke her heart because he didn't want to be around this end stuff. So we've been to the big concert and out to eat a few days before. Thank goodness for the return, it helps to bring happy moments for us both, but especially her. You may work in this industry... REMEMBER YOU ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOU REALIZE!!! THERE ARE PEOPLE OUT THERE YOU TOUCH AND GIVE SO MUCH TO ... AND YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT A BIG DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE. GOD BLESS YOU #serviceindustry #jobsearch
I have noticed that more restaurants are back to offering "happy hour" specials to draw more customers in. I know the industry has certainly suffered drastically due to the pandemic, especially coming from that background. It does seem like the restaurants are busier now at least from what I have seen. I also see more places offering live music and outside seating still which I know attracts me to going to their establishment.
What a precious doll-face! Lucky both of you!
There are a lot more remote jobs.
Don't know if it's a good thing, the waitresses know me better than before. On a serious note people have kept cleaner and I appreciate that. I had grandparents that went through the Spanish flu and their lessons are with me. We will be better, stronger and wiser, Ford
I'm not sure if anything changed for the better from the pandemic. It seems like there is more fraud, more people wanting handouts instead of actually earning their way. Every place I go seems to have Gratuity as a part of the process. People got lazier with shopping and delivery options.
roger that, you are clearly dateable or marriageable. thank you for being THAT GUY.
Is jobcase a scam?
beats having to deal with what the dictionary defines "someone" as a human being. I love my little plants with their cute little leaves. welcome to the Orwellian nightmare..
