Multitasking opportunities are sci-fi traps for the general public. There are entities that programme victims as biotronic gadgets,create artificial syndromes of diseases & crimes and even death,without the victims knowing anything about such a conspiracy. Now general human life is damn risky. High-tech Sci-fi magic tricks can easily hoodwink public law in many countries. People will remain ignorant if viable measures are not explained in the public forum.

The idea is to complete a task successfully, thus benefiting the company, "a job well done", and benefiting personally from the satisfaction of the same.
Context shifting all day is really hard, focus on a few things always leads to more quality output.
I've never been a fan of multi-tasking. Too easy to make a mistake on the various projects one is assigned to do. Companies that require multi-tasking are simply to cheap to hire enough people.
