My area is economically a low man on the totem pole. Meaning we have about 10 to 15 percent unemployment most of the time. Regardless if the economy is doing well or not. What that means for me is I can't get a decent job that would allow me to save up to move to a better work area. Where there are jobs. What jobs there are here where I live are mostly low wage retail work. So that leaves me trapped in a area I loath to death and have no way out. People in my area say I should like the low wage job I have. Basically discouraging the idea of better work, or I should like a job I am bored out of my mind with. The secret my friend is to SKILL UP. Two years ago I was dead broke. One thing I had was some IT skills, Web design, Digital Marketing Skills. I skilled up as much as I could on Youtube. A mere 2 years down the line I pull in $15k a month! ANYONE CAN DO IT! You have the most powerful educational tool in your hand. Your smartphone connected to the Internet FULL OF FREE INFORMATION. USE THAT INFORMATION. Go on Youtube and learn everything you can on a particular skill in high demand. For me it was digital marketing. Now I work remotely from home in my pyjamas with multiple clients making more than the leader of my country.

Funny... the unemployment rate is below 4% but we have people complaining about making ends meet. What happened is that people had to take the lower paying jobs to survive but it's still hard for people to make a living. Is globalization good for America?
