Listen, take notes, and be confident. You are going on do great

H Phoebe,
I usually try to connect with my new co-workers, whether it is over lunch or a cup of coffee! To show the team that I am a team player, that I can communicate effectively and that I'm not afraid to share my ideas, and that I am happy about joining the team. I feel that by doing these things, it allows me to become more comfortable with being at a new company and it helps me adjust to the expectations of my role. And Drink Lots of Coffee!!! :)

Go poop,no need to hold it in..stop overthinking please

Speaking of myself:
a) How do you know when things are finally going smoothly there and you’re all settled in?
- This is a natural reflex for everyone. But the clearest indicator that you've finally settled in? You've stopped calling your position new to people you run into ...
b) What's one thing you wish you did differently from the start??
- Change my routine. Sometimes all we need in our lives is to alter something in our daily routines that haven't been working for a long time. ...
c) What's the best advice you’ve gotten when starting a new job?
- View every person you meet as a door that may lead you to a new opportunity. ...

Starting a new job can be very stressful. You are trying to perform a new task in a new environment and fit in with new people. Also, you want to stand out and shine to your boss. So how do you calm your nerves and keep from getting too nervous?
- Breathe, breathe, breathe. Inhale taking long deep breaths to relax.
- Be confident in your skills. You already got the job, so someone already had confidence in you.
- Don't be too hard on yourself. Remember that everyone understands what it's like to start something new. We have all sat in that seat before.

Starting a new job myself. At navy pier no less. I Myself do not like change. just remember they are people ordinary people no special than you.

I just try to keep in mind that everyone is new at some point. Relax, be yourself, ask questions, pay close attention during training, take notes and try to connect with fellow co-workers. And remember they hired you for a reason.

Go with the flow, embrace the change…The more you resist it or think of it as “dificult” the more challenging the adjustment period will be. Best of luck!!
Be humble and do not ever get involved in drama. Open ears, and take notes if need be
