I too recently got laid off from my job in the oil and gas industry with 13 years experience. My body can't take starting over in the industry. Need to try something new.

I too recently had my contracting job eliminated. I am an experienced RN with over 20years experience in Admissions, Insurance, Case Management, as well as being a Director of Nursing. I am now having to seek remote work from home due to Viral Schooling for my children. It seems a lot of people are having the same challenges. I know I am highly motivated and ready for an challenges.

It is quite competitive out here. Hiring during this pandemic is slow, yet rewarding. I would dread for you to make less than what you were currently making. Down the long road ahead, I am sure you are now looking for new roles at various companies. I learned that although I have these various skills and experience I noticed that I really have not been matching the job that I apply for vs what is on my resume and my current experience and skills. When moving into a new role, I research courses about bookkeeping on Udemy if my new dream job would require the skill. Not experience. I would adjust my resume as so, to fit the desire of that role. Also, you have extensive experience in Fashion. Pintrest is Dyiiing for your fashion idead, especially for the summer. You bio would be amazing and captivating! You can become the designer yourself creating stylish ideas and gain a huge audience and watch the rewards roll in. Fashion is in a new stage of how we shop and where we shop. Online fashion wear can be fun and lucrative!

Like other retail operations, Tailored Brands has just decided to close 500 stores, including the one I was managing prior to Covid. I produced an impressive sales and management record with Joseph A Bank for the past 6 years, including being the only store manager in the Chicago market with an increase of more than 10% this past fiscal year. Prior to that, I owned my own men’s clothing store, Pine’s of Park Ridge, for over 20 years. I had worked as the store manager for 15 years before that. During my store ownership, I co-founded the Taste of Park Ridge, which I still operate. I’ve been fortunate to have cultivated relationships with a multitude of customers, many of whom have evolved into friends. I have the knowledge and experience to thrive in any retail (or any other) business environment where hard work and people skills are appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help and consideration.

Inbound Sales And Service Advisor at Road Scholar

I have been laid off from a position in the Travel industry. I was a Customer Care advisor working from home, taking calls as if I was in the office. I could see that the Travel industry was in rough shape. I anticipated this. I am in the process of finding other, work from home preferred, Customer Care representative, in northeastern, Massachusetts.

I worked with a non-profit organization that gave care to special needs children with high medical needs. Our place was shut down, and all staff let go. Upon reopening after 3 months the program was completely revamped, and you were hired back as a new employee. I received an email that said, due to the new structure of the program my being an LPN no longer fits. I am in the process of rolling over my 401and 403. I was planning on retiring in 2021. But now I am in the process of looking for a new position part time.
