I'm in Southern Florida. How do I get Jobcase to figure out that's not the same as Southern California? Loved SoCal when I lived there decades ago but it's a pretty-long commute.
Why recruiters refuse to give hard-working people a fair shake, when transitioning employment.
I've been out of steady work, almost an entire calendar year and I've looked at my other experiences. I worked in a warehouse for 15 years with 9 of those years being a shipping clerk. I've also worked as a bank courier and as a part-time mail carrier for a time. I like delivering packages to people's homes, which is one of my other experiences, but for the last year, every time I've applied for a delivery driving opening, with no experience required, and I've even submitted my updated resume. My work history is very good, but every time I attempted to apply for a delivery driving position that doesn't require either a CDL or a DOT card, those recruiters won't even give me a fair shake and I'm not accepting excuses, because I'm more than qualified for that type of position and I don't accept anything from A.I.- only human perspectives. What the hell is wrong with this picture? No, I don't accept political reasons, either.
