Is it true?
Hey everyone! Swifthawk here! I have a really quick and important question: Will Walmart really pay 100% for your college tuition? In the break room where I work, they have a big poster that says, "You Get The Education, We Pay 100% the Bills." Even my coworkers are telling me that Walmart will pay full price for your college education, but I'm not too sure about it. Maybe for some people out there who work at Walmart outside of Arizona, it's different; and that doesn't happen for you, but where I work/live, apparently that happens; but I'm not sure. Can I get some advice on this?

Taco Bell also pays 100% of 159 associates, bachelor and some master degrees. If your focus is outside of those 159, they pay almost 6k per college year towards non supported degrees.

What made you want to work for Walmart?

Not a thing I would NEVER work for them.

Will they be okay with it?
Hey everyone! Swifthawk here! Okay. So as you all know I work as a cashier at Walmart. Now don't get me wrong, I'm very thankful for the job, but everyday it feels like someone is stabbing me over and over in the back. It's causing me to limp, it's causing me to wince, yelp (literally yelping like a dog) in front of the customers, it's causing me to move slower than I want to (I move very fast nowadays), it's making me feel like I'm going to break my spine. Now, I'm not asking for any kind of pity on this, you know what I mean? I get that a lot of people out there are also going through pain like that. Now here's my question: Will Walmart accept it if I asked them to switch my position to something more easygoing? I've come to learn that I cannot work as a cashier because of the sharp pain in my back.

They do promote from within for other departments. Interview for customer service or the apparel attendant position. You would also answer phones and page managers, customers and other employees. Ben there, done that and loved my job.🌞

Wow! You're so young. I hope it's nothing serious. Take care :)

One thing I would have loved to have at #Walmart was
I like working at Paoli Indiana Walmart and I think they should give people second chance to work for them you go to work on time and get off work on time and they tell you that they should believe in second chances it Tina Hobson

What do I do??
Hey everyone! Swifthawk here!
Okay. Today I will not be creating a post, but a question. So when I got home, I looked on my phone to check my schedule, but when I accidentally hit the icon where you clock in and out, right? Well, when I did that, it showed me that I was still clocked in!!! And I was already home!!!!!!! I tried clocking out right there and then, but it told me that I could only clock out if I was at the store!!!! I tried calling Customer Services, but they wouldn't pick up!!!!!! I'm literally scared for my life right now! What should I do? Will I get fired? And I don't go into work until Wednesday!!!!!!!!!!! Please help!!! #stressful #advice #walmart

Don't Worry @Stormfrost .... these things happen! Just try to be mindful and create a routine in the future, where you clock in/out the same way every shift, if you can. Make sure you let your Manager know what happened the next time you go in, and try not to stress until then! Mistakes will be a huge part of mastering your first job, try to see them as chances to learn something new and do it even better the next time around! 🖤✨💚

So what happened @Swifthawk. Were you able to get in touch with someone. Were they able to fix it? Or do you have to wait until tomorrow?

What did YOU imagine the room to look like?
Hi everyone! This is mainly a question for people who work or worked for Walmart, but feel free to comment anyway!
Okay. If you work or worked for Walmart, before your Orientation, what did you imagine the Orientation Room to look like?
For me, I imagine it as a HUGE conference room, but when I asked my dad, he said that's not what the room looks like; yet I still can't help picturing it as that. Anyone else get those little pictures in their heads before they start work or just go somewhere in general? I do!! Tell me what you think in the comments below!
Peace out! Swifthawk
