Vermont frontline workers compensated!!
Way to go Vermont!!
Their lawmakers just passed a "hazard pay" grant program offering cash to front-line workers. The focus is helping those who have previously interacted with the public in grocery stores, hardware and pharmacies and other retail environments early in the pandemic.
Those who worked part-time in those positions between mid-March and mid-May are eligible for $1,200 checks.
Those who worked full-time during that period will receive $2,000.
Hundreds of Vermont employers have applied on behalf of their workers!
