The regular customers was the best part of the job, getting to know them and seeing their friendly faces. Also the boss was a great guy!

So I got hired on at a privately owned exxon on Monday. Today was my first day of doing day shift. Before today I felt somewhat fine about things but after today my God, there's so much to counting down the drawer at closing. They make it to where a certain amount of certain Bill's has to be in the drawer. Today 1 of the girls that has been there for quite some time now showed me and the girl that started today how to close down the lottery. There was so much to it to where she multiplied certain numbers, added certain numbers and I don't know what all. I don't know why it takes me so long to learn things and to get them down and to actually contain things. I feel like I'm not containing them fast enough. I feel like I'm just waiting to be told I'm fired. I don't know what to do. I'm recently separated and I need a way to do things for myself and for my son. I completely relied on him and was a stay at home mom and house wife. I feel like maybe I'm just not a worker and like it's just too late to get good work ethics. Me and my son has been staying with my parents for the last 3 years since my husband hasn't had a home for us. I guess I was waiting for him to come to his senses and hoping things would go back to how they had been. I just don't know #stress #worry #overthinking #notcontaing

When I worked at #Thewarmingcenter I gave great advice when

I am always try in to use my story of my past mistakes to up lift people.i was once a very lost individual until I found sobriety I try to show others that they to can come out of the darkness and coldness if the streets.i can tell you a more memorable one before the center was opened up.i spoke in front of city hall and shared my story to the committee and my story along with others helped convince the commity to open it...

Hi everyone. I used to work at 'abc' gas station for about 8 years. I loved my job very much. 2 months ago I had to move out of state so I had to look for another job.. I finally got one , and its at a gas station, so I was really happy. I love, love my new job, BUT, at this new place you are required to ask every one of your customers if they would like to please donate their change to 'United Cerebral Palsy'. Its part of your job and if you don't ask you will get written up... My problem is: I hate it very much when other cashiers ask me if I would like to donate my change, in fact I hate it so much I refuse to go to those stores ever again. There are some customers that also don't like it when you ask them by the look and expression on their face.. Any advice?

The biggest mistake I made was letting the higher ups talk me into doing things that wasn't right but it would benefit the company if it works and thinking they have your back and will stick up for you when needed.
