The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has an immediate need to employ residents of Saint Louis, MO and the surrounding areas as temporary local hires to assist with disaster response and recovery efforts.
Appointment type is Temporary - Not to exceed 120 days with possibility of extension. Salary $16.32 to $16.32 per hour!

FEMA is seeking candidates with experience in customer service. As a Local Hire (Customer Representative), you will assist with non-medical vaccine support activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
In this position, you will serve as a member of the non-medical vaccination support staff at the Community Vaccination Center (CVC).
Typical assignments include:
- Greeting, guiding, and assisting individuals that enter the CVC.
- Entering data into an automated tracking system and providing other basic administrative support.
- Using Microsoft Office computer software to support administrative assignments.
- Reviewing registration forms and requirements for Federal and/or State vaccination programs and preparing correspondences/communication for required follow-up actions.
- Observing and questioning patients' post-vaccination for adverse reactions.
- Assisting with the set-up, signage, and traffic control at the vaccination centers.
